San Jose, California, is where Shennay Hampton—known on stage as Shè RNB—first found her voice. A multifaceted singer, actress, poet, and producer, she now resides in Tennessee, carrying forward a legacy nurtured by her mother, Lorraine Hampton, a gospel singer who released an album titled Sacred Soul Singers in 1972  .

After debuting with her album Rain On My Shine in 2011, Shè stepped away from the spotlight to devote time to raising her two children. A decade later, she re-emerged with a revived version of that debut in February 2021—renewing her musical passion and reigniting her lifelong dream to perform  .

While the desire to return is strong, many face fear, uncertainty, and lack of resources. Spy Out the Land addresses this by offering a trustworthy, transparent pathway backed by research, lived experience, and community collaboration.

The initiative will:

• Scout and evaluate 3–5 African countries for sustainable, long-term relocation

• Document the journey through video, interviews, and research

• Create a comprehensive relocation blueprint including legal, social, and economic guidance

• Build partnerships with local leaders, communities, and businesses

• Lay the foundation for community hubs, co-ops, and cultural centers abroad

• Support future movers with pooled resources, fundraising tools, and a shared support system

Elect Sounds Radio (ESR) is excited to announce our Songwriting Contest! This is your opportunity to showcase your songwriting talent, have your lyrics professionally produced by The ESR Music Group, and get exclusive airplay on Elect Sounds Radio!

Contest Rules & Guidelines

Eligibility

• Open to all songwriters, regardless of experience.

• The song must align with Hebrew Israelite faith-based themes and ESR’s mission.

• Lyrics must exalt and honor YAHUAH, reflecting faith-based themes in alignment with ESR’s mission.

Submission Guidelines

• All submissions must be original and written by the entrant.

• The song must be formatted with labeled sections: [Verse], [Chorus], [Bridge], etc.

• The song must be written for a solo singer (either one male or one female).

• Submit lyrics in a text document (Word, PDF, or Google Docs) via the official contest submission form.

• Each participant may submit one song only.

• No explicit, inappropriate, or secular content will be accepted.

Selection Process

• The ESR Team will review all submissions and select the winning song based on:

• Lyrical depth & message

• Creativity & originality

• Alignment with ESR’s mission

• The winning songwriter will receive full credit for their lyrics.

Production & Airplay

• The winning song will be produced by The ESR Music Group with professional instrumentation and vocals.

• The final song will be exclusively played on Elect Sounds Radio and promoted across ESR’s platforms.

• The songwriter will be credited on-air and in promotional materials.

Rights & Ownership

• The songwriter retains full ownership and rights to their song.

• By submitting, the songwriter grants ESR a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the song for radio airplay, promotional campaigns, and marketing purposes.

• ESR reserves the right to modify the arrangement, production, and performance of the song as needed for production purposes.

• ESR will not sell or redistribute the song without further agreement with the songwriter.

• The songwriter may independently distribute or monetize their song elsewhere, provided ESR maintains rights to air and promote the produced version.

• The songwriter agrees to indemnify ESR against any claims of copyright infringement, ensuring their submission is 100% original and does not infringe on any third-party rights.
