Makabi Yashar is an artist who was previously known as Mark A. Smith. He served in many positions within religious organizations, such as, church musician, Minister of Music, Youth Pastor, and Senior Pastor. Makabi walked away from it all in the year 2021 and the Most High woke him up three years later in 2024. he is a song writer, composer, producer, and audio engineer. Makabi had 4 albums he released when he was Mark A. Smith, but because of his awakening, he removed all his music from streaming services to start again as Makabi Yashar. He is very humbled and honored that Yahuah would wake him up and reveal Himself to Makabi in a very real way. Makabi is a happily married man of 31 years to LaShonda Smith. They have 4 beautiful children and 5 grandchildren. Makabi's goal is to continue to be an example to his children and grandchildren and to continue to teach them the way of the Most High Yahuah and His son Yahusha Ha'Mashiac.
